Mr. Wu has advised, invested in or restructured over 150 enterprises in his career.
Mr. Wu began his career on Wall Street as an M&A banker for JP Morgan & Co. in New York and London. 1997-2003.
Led investment banking practice for Carl Marks & Co, a middle market merchant bank with a focus on restructurings, serving as Co-Head of Investment Banking, Partner and Member of Executive Committee, Carl Marks Advisors LLC. 2003-2017.
Established Restructuring Division of Teneo Capital LLC where he served as President and Senior Managing Director, Restructuring Advisory Group 2017-2021.
Formed Alternative Investment Group at Ault Alliance, a multi-strategy holding company serving as Head of Alternative Investments; Chairman of the Board of Circle 8 Holdco (Crane Rental Investment); CEO of AGREE, Inc. (commercial real estate portfolio consisting of lodging and multifamily assets).

17 years+ of professional experience primarily in investment banking and proprietary investing, with several years as a management consultant specialized in industrial real estate development.
Mr. Beland began his career as a senior consultant responsible for strategy, business case analysis, design and development of complex industrial facilities for freight and transit railway clients across North America.
After that, Mr. Beland has spent 10 years as an investment banker delivering M&A and corporate finance solutions in the broad industrials sector, with a specialization in metals & mining, Industrial minerals, engineering & construction and cannabis.
In 2018, Mr. Beland was a co-founding executive of Tidal Royalty, a $45M royalty investment company which he later sold in 2020 to a private investor for approximately 3x capital.
Mr. Beland has worked with Mr. Wu for over 5 years at Teneo and Ault.
At Secretariat, Mr. Beland is responsible for managing day-to-day new investment analysis, due diligence, asset management.

25+ years of financial executive experience across strategic finance, investment banking, corporate development, and accounting/operations management.
Most recently served as interim operational CFO for several private equity–backed companies including Legends Hospitality.
Founding member of a New York City’s first municipal marketing agency, NYC & Company, under Mayor Bloomberg, where as CFO/COO he managed the integration of multiple acquisitions and scaled the business to $80 million in revenue and 180 employees.
Co-founded Cinedigm, a publicly traded data center and digital theater platform company.
Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at two New York City–based investment firms. Insignia Financial Group and The Witkoff Group.
